Pathfinder Astrid is involved in an interesting sailing program for the summer of 2025, both attending sail gatherings and performing solo cruises.
The first step has been participating to the wonderful Raid Zelande, organised by friend William, and taking place in the Schelde river and locked lakes located around the Belgian city of Antwerp.
The sailing grounds are characterised by strong tides, and intense marine traffic with barges and freighters zooming past in the main river. As the fleets sailed away from those more trafficked areas, the participants were rewarded with fantastic natural sites and sailing conditions. Thank you William for making it possible for us to sail in your home waters!
