Out with Joy Spring

Joy Spring is my Michael Storer designed Goat Island Skiff. A light, fun and very versatile boat that I enjoy sailing whenever I have the opportunity. Its lightnes and utter simplicity makes it ideal for a keen sailor like myself who happens not to have too much spare time .... The boat is launched by hand and rigged in minutes.
The day when this short video was taken, conditions were interesting. 25 knots onshore wind making launching and sailing off a stimulating challenge.
Good fun altogether!

  1. Lorenzo, you managed very well having 25kn!
I think having the choice between the Pathfinder and the GIS is the best combination possible for a dinghy sailor: heavy, stable, powerful one; light, fast and reactive the other. You have all!
